Does anyone know if Thunderbird automatically puts sender emails into the address book like outlook express does. Like if youi reply to an email, etc.

yes, there's an option to auto add recipients when you reply to an email. also you can auto add them by surrounding their email address with brackets < > . for example, in the recipient field type:

<corpse@corpse.net>
