The service in funky Chinese writing. I never seen that before, it just appeared overnight.
However, my PC protection did stop it from running when i restarted the PC.
How do you search for something like that on google?

i would imagine trying to view details of it and copy/pasting the data from there?
Kotaku is a Japanese hosted site I believe.
BTW, when you view Kotaku using IE (No comments of Firefox its not always possible at work), does it crash like a bitch?

After looking around Google I found what it is, to a certain extent. It's not any virus or mallware. The registry value comes in every Acer computer that has Windows VISTA. I don't know what it does or why I haven't seen it before, but it's an official Acer registry entry.
