Ever had Takoyaki, good stuff.

Literally translated, it means fried or baked octopus.
It's like a Japanese fast food type of thing, really good stuff !

I know what you mean, if prepared unskillfully squid tasted like eating rubber.
But this is different, its actually quite good. It has a lot of flavor, and it's tender.

Oh man, i love squiddies

It's all in how you prepare em though - do it wrong and it becomes quite uneatable.
The most awesome squid dish i ever had was probably in Italy... or was it Greece... in any case, it was cold octopus tentacles with a fresh tomato sauce and herbs and stuff... and there was freshly baked bread, which you could sort of dip in the sauce.
Hmmm, i see now my discription doesn't do justice at all to the sheer awesomeness of said dish. But it was so excellent it was almost an emotional moment.
