I think it says, "AmIdYfReAk is gAy!"

That does indeed look to be way off. Is it noticeably slow or just on par with your other drives?

on par if not a little slower than the 250gig Maxtor SATA2 drive that they replaced..

when i get a little time tommorow, i'll test out the single 32gig rapter that is running in onr of my older nforce 2 mobo based puter..

i seriously think it will beat them out ( its actually faster in windows than this box... beleve it or not )

Still slower than ATA? Sounds like a problem with the mobo. Tried updating firmware and chipset drivers?

I hate to say it again, but, nforce chipsets are junk.

To be succinct, some nForce 680i motherboards have SATA issues. Data seems to get corrupted for no reason causing BSODs and corrupted hard drive errors. Obviously there is a reason, but the problem to the end user may seem very sporadic.
NVIDIA’s track record at HardOCP with storage controller solutions over the life of the nForce brand has been poor to say the least, but has been getting better as NVIDIA has moved forward.

Also some good information here, stating that the problems may indeed be resolved by new BIOS.

Sorry, my post above should have had 2 different links. The 2nd one should have been

Some people have been installing the new BIOS without any immediate issues being solved, but I think the issue might lay at the feet of the end user. The ugly part of this easy BIOS update is the fact if you already corrupted data on your hard drive, this BIOS update is not going to fix that. So you will of course need to install a fresh operating system as well as reinstall all of your applications.

one thing that i did notice and they didnt mention in there was after the Flash, it re-dected the PCI to PCI bridges...

it was rather interesting.
