Needs to have the following:

-2GHz dual-core CPU (most likely Core 2 Duo)
-2GB RAM
-128MB video card
-Minimum 120GB HDD space
-Windows XP SP2

If anyone knows where I can get the best bargain, I would fully appreciate it. This laptop is mandatory for my college program and I don't want my last resort to be a $1200 Lenovo Thinkpad.

i've had a dell c2d lappy for a year without any troubles. upgrade to the best battery though.

Have you called Mobile-delta and Asked them what laptops you are allowed to get?

You dont know how meny people came in with say ~$2000-$4000 laptops that we could not allow them to use For there program, they ended up renting the Leveno's ( R40's at the time.... )

Talk to them, Call ITSC if you need to and get the ball Rolling..
