anybody who knows the command that allows you to set the map limit area to max so that you can jump on the roof off everymap on Q3A standard maps



Okey here you have q3dm6 map, now im standing IN the map and want to rail jump right up where i have my aim



and here i have used noclip just to show you why i want this command or what the heck it is to work...


i want to let it be able to rail jump up there and walk around without using /devmap and cheats -_- its possible my uncle just cant remember the command.... so i thought any off you guys in here might know the command or the method to let it be able to rail jump up there

lol, you can't jump on the roof of a map if it has no roof. however if you want to get to bits of the map you can't normally get to, you'll need to load the map in devmode, then turn on clipping and fastsky

don't know what you mean by "map limit area", frankly. every map is the size it is, period. you can't change that

well my uncle sayed it was a command that you chould use so that you could RAIL JUMP up on top off a map where you couldnt rail jump without the command... i played on a server whitch had this command or what it is activated and it was awsome :/ i cant realy explain it better then this...

simply you could rail jump out off the windows and up ON TOP off the map where it was never possible to go on Q3A standard maps

yea rail jump, i play Quake 3 Arena Freeze plus rail only with rail jump that lets you point youre rail gun on the ground and when you shot it throws you away :P

never heard of rail jumping

you could try RJing on a bouncepad. that gives you extra height. there's one on the other end of the ledge from the RG in DM6, but i can't remember if that ceiling lattice thingy is only overhead further on or not

Not possible without an addon mod of some form. And I don't know of any that do what you said.

yeah, you can do it in some rail-only mods just like a rocket jump.
