No quake 3 is not dead...Quake 3 is the best game I ever play.

Evillair just put up a custom map(el3t3) over at ..::LvL about a month back, and the map got 900 and some
downloads. Tell me another game that has been around for 8 years that has that many and plus players.
I'm gonna say that the game is quite undead. It'll live as long as Doom which has existed 14 years.

Cuz it's not an another stinky version of CS for kidz, it's a game that requires skill. But wham am I talking about, u probably don't even know what the word "skill" means.

And u know, Arena will definetly live for for a long time. Even QuakeWorld is far from dead ^^

PS. I can't believe all of u guys forgot - Quake Zero (or Live) is coming. And it's coming with a bang!

bought the game just before my second daughter was born and still play it regularly 8 years later (and am still getting owned ;-) )

I've been playing since Q2 days and still play daily. I run a Beryllium server and have a small group that play on the server regularly. I have no desire to erode addtional RL learning a new FPS game. Besides - I'm too old.

I recently started playing this game. I did played Q3 in the past with a illigal version, but recently bought it for real.

This game is just to much fun.

I am start to play q3a 2005.and now I can't stop play.so good game.....

naw q3 is alive and well and i have been seeing an increase in the last 3 months!

q3 is an awesome game!

I've been playing fer years. My Daughter gave me fer Christmas and said I'd like it 10x better. She was right. I LOVE this game. Maybe by the time I'm 60, I'll go . Who knows. Gotta live a little, huh?
