Oh, I never actually watched the vid, but the premise of the post was and is still fantastic.

Thats why I asked to tell me where to improve, no need to be utter jerks. And what else am I meant to fight, I have pings of over 300 online even with Broadband and I've only been playing for like 2 months. I guess people like you just think everyone starts of pro and there is no practice to become good. I didn't post saying I was good, I posted asking for some direction. And it's Youtube so I couldn't help with the quality, you probably wouldn't have downloaded the original because you would have thought it had a virus.

Play online. End of story.

Yet you did not read what I said, I said I get pings of over 300 while playing online, do not tell me to get faster internet because I have Broadband and the Highest ping you could get in my country is around 200 which to me is unplayable. I might try and start getting a few people from my country to play in the same server but that doesn't matter. All I asked for what some advice on how to improve from my current state and you saw an opportunity to be a jerk.

even getting together for a lan match with one of your buddies would be better. skip rap for music too, that sucks for those types of vids.

I fail to see the point in asking people who play a game designed to be played online, their opinion on your skills versus a computerized opponant. If you really want to improve your current state, play online otherwise, who fucking cares.

My skills versus a Computer opponent is exactly the same against an online one, so I was seeing if they could advise me on how to improve from that. I would try to get a lan together but not many of my friends are good at fps, most of them don't even game very much. You could have atleast advised me on maybe how to strafe jump better or to use the circle jump but no you had to get all arrogant and insult me for asking. Only real assholes insult people who are asking for help.
And I don't really like rock in games as it doesn't appeal to my taste in music. I don't see certain genres of music suiting different types of game unless is it is an utter change in theme (Like a love song for a extremely violent game etc).

The people here could've been a bit nicer about it, but they're right in that you need to play against human opponents. Bots are dumb and predictable, you're not going to learn much from them.

Just QFT, nothing to add. Find ppl to play on lan, learn strafing (there's plenty of guides, even here). And before creating a video, just watch some of those on own-age.com and ask urself how is ur video compared to those. Cuz now its nothing except for laugh. Sry to say that, but just watch how pros play, play by urself and maybe one day we'll see a good video by u

You asked for an opinion, so that's what you got. Did you expect everybody to say "OMG REALLY GR8 MOVIE 11/10!!!"?

You have to understand that when you post a video like this you're basically saying "hey everybody, look at how skilled I am," and that what is shown in the video reflects how you allow yourself or choose to play.

Playing a bot is not impressive. Again, bots are dumb. They don't perform critical tasks such as item timing or proper movement. Pretty much everybody has mastered the nightmare bots and have gone much further than that. If the highest ping people in your country get is 200ms, that's not horrible either...and even if you can't deal with ping, again, find people to LAN with. It's much more enjoyable than playing over the net.

While the video is posted on YouTube, it's still easy to tell a nicely compressed video from a badly compressed video. Turning the graphics up is also a must.

Also, there are more types of music than just rock and rap. And I've downloaded many videos to my HDD and never got a virus, so nice try

The reason I posted a video is so you could have and idea of how I played and could tell me how I could have improved from that. Not how much I owned or whatever and I did ask for opinion but that doesn't mean that dude should go be a dick about it. None of the first posts even told me how to get better at all but the other ones helped so thanks to them.
And United flow I'll play with you just tell me the servers IP address so I can connect. And I know my Strafe jump is crap I've just learnt how to do it better and now I'm practicing it.
