Using Flash 5 and I'm sure an easy question.

Say I create a movie, importing an image and the movie is 20 frames long.

In frame 1 I use ALpha to fade it to nothing. USing motion tween, of course, I would think this should gradually fade in brighter as the movie progresses.

But, on the second frame, it is full brightness.

What am I doing wrong? I've done this before but obvioiusly I cant remember.

create 2 keyframes, one for the beginning and one for the end

select the first keyframe, click on the object (make sure its converted to a symbol!!! do this BEFORE creating the keyframes), and set the alpha.

then click on the last keyframe, and set the alpha to 100.
create motion tween

I figured it out about the same time. Must convert image to symbol.
