firefox question

i gots the latest firefox version 2.0.0.12
and when i leave it opened like on this page and when i'm gaming, firefox tries to open a website with a blank url and i get a popup msg saying firefox cannot open this page cause of invalid url.. Anyone get this ? (this happens while i'm in game btw)

that's a bit odd. Updated to the same version a few days ago as well, haven't noticed any problems yet.

More than one game? Scan for viruses?
I've updated FF and haven't had any problems.

Might be FF still receives the middle mouse button event (or whatever you bound to "open the contents of the clipboard as a URL"). If memory deceives me not, I had this problem years ago with a Logitech mouse + driver. I can't offer a real solution: I just wiped Windows and installed Linux (though not because of that).

no viruses, no malware everything upto date, it just happend ones, was weird..

Debian testing. The fertile grounds in between the inertia of stable and the bleeding edge madness that is unstable / experimental.

just got home from a doc visit and heres what the msg looks like after updating to the latest version of FF and everything up to date, PC wasnt being used while i was afk
