Quake3World

So I got Quake 3 the other day and I tried to play multi player, but I got "Could not connect to the master server." Can someone tell me how to connect to it?

If you haven't already, update to the latest point release 1.32

also get ASE. the master server error is related to the ingame server browser, which doesnt work anymore.

Thats really wired, i had it working at my friends house (the ingame browser that is), the other day.


But now when i try to connect at my own house, all i get is unable to connect to master server. We are using the same versions, any idea what might be wrong?


I hate ASE, theres no way im going to use that. And paying extra for a "game browser" is out of the question.

You don't have to pay. Just keep clicking the 'keep trying for however long' prompt when it comes up and it keeps on working.

So what are people using seeing how the ASE isn't around anymore. I'm trying to play CPMA, and nothing is connecting.
