The answer is because your overwhelming pride refuses to catch on to the fact that you are a failure at life and you suck as a human being. As a result, you glom on to cheap conspiracy theories in order to think of yourself as being possessed of a special knowledge, because it might make up for the fact that you don't have any actual knowledge at all. That special knowledge ends up making you look like a tremendous tool, which causes Nightshade to have to correct your idiocy before you end up hurting yourself and others.

However, if you catch the mention of pride at the start of the previous paragraph, then you would note that unearned pride such as yours is incapable of accepting that someone is smarter than you and capable of putting you in your place. As a result, your brain flails around helplessly in a sea of retardation until you find a buoy in the form of thinking that people who are correcting you must be morons.

Ergo, your question is a trick question. Nightshade isn't a moron, he just seems that way to you because you're trying to help repair your injured pride when he points out what a fucking dipshit you are.
