Looks like PC vs. Console gameplay might be making a comebac

So you guys remember the ridiculous level of fun that was had at the expense of the Dreamcast Quake 3 community, right?
Looks like Capcom are opening the floodgates again, claiming that PC gamers will be able to play with 360 gamers in Lost Planet: Colonies.

They must harvest the server data. It would be interesting to see the stats on kill rate on 360 vs PC on a equal amount on units.

Yeah, I was aware of Shadowrun, but I was also aware it sucked massive donkey cock and that it was pretty much the only PC vs. Console title out there.
On account of its market saturation and Windows Live subscription requirement, I discounted it as a serious game.
Lost Planet on the other hand has the potential to reach a wider audience, especially given that the original was released on Steam.

Lost Planet was a flop, sure it sold ok-ish, but it wasn't exactly a mega hit online. Its hardly played really. The next one will be good, I was a fan of the first for some reason, but then again any game that makes me feel like I'm playing Surface from Goldeneye again will be a hit with me.
But Lost Planet online was a huge mess of fail.

Dreamcast is still online. I use a Dreamcast to play every chance I get. They see about 450 servers a day but can only play on about 20. They use v1.16n and only play no maps that are listed as "dc_map??".

Shadowrun didn't get the publicity nor the credit it deserves. I play all the time, to this day I still play whenever I can. The game simply ownz. It's not the best graphics but the gameplay is amazing. I've played with pc players and I can't say I've noticed them being any better than console players.

It was Watson, as well as a Megadrive/Genesis game.
The one we're talking about though is the recent
PC/360 multiplayer only title that has very little to do with the actual RPG.

I wonder if browser quake:0 players can play quake xbox arcade players...
That would be cool as fuck...
