No time to learn a new product unfortunately. Long story short, we had 3 sites running on a WS_FTP server that a previous guy had built here. When our external IPs all changed, I realized how inflexible it really was.
So, having worked with IIS and set up some sites with virtual directories, I took one look at the complex links between virtual directories on the WS server and thought "You know, I'm sure I could do that much easier with IIS."
Wrong.

Wrong.

Heh I guess the IIS FTP server _should_ integrate really well into the IIS webserver.
Ever thought about switching to apache?

. The last time I looked at setting up IIS I got confused and gave in.

I don't honestly do much with web servers - although our production site is an external server running IIS, which basically just proxies requests back to an Apache server running Tomcat to do all the actual work.
I'd like to learn more about Apache honestly - my few attempts at getting perl/cgi running on an IIS server have been pretty frustrating, but my webhost runs apache and doesn't seem to have any problems.
