The revised comment makes sense... Sure, NWA was a chance to get rich, like case said, but it's also rooted in experience. Rather than take the lyrics as political commentary, the media labeled them as subversive and demonized the artists as sex and violence crazed madmen who wanted to fuck their daughters with big black dicks, kill police, and turn their sons into dope smoking killers and thieves.
