If you never played Track Mania, here is your chance, there is both single player and multiplayer. And multiplayer is where this game shines. I just spent the last hour playing it's amazing.

Play online > rankings > United States of America
Players tab.
I was #1 in my local county, however at the time there were only 9 players

Don't think so. You can invite people from the main menu if you have their login name.

as for the starforce copy protection thing, I don't know how that's with nations forever, but the original nations didn't contain starforce, only an update. So if you already had starforce on your system, it would be updated to a newer version. If you didn't have starforce on your system yet, it wouldn't be installed either.

Some of the maps are shit, like they where made by a 12 year old, like the crap "surf" maps in Counter Strike.
However, other maps are amazing, you could spen a whole hour on them and they wouldn't get old.
