Hi,

I installed Q3A today along with point release 1.32 and I get an error message when trying to run the game saying my display drivers are not up to date even though I have the latest drivers installed from nvidia for my evga8800GT. Is anyone else having any driver issues with this card or any other card?

Thanks :)

Could you post the exact message? Better yet, a dump of the console?

Hi thanks for the reply...

This is the error message I get along with what the console displays before closing:

X - NVIDIA OpenGL Driver

NVIDIA display driver files from different (incompatible)
versions of the driver have been detected.

NVIDIA OpenGL acceleration is disabled in order to
maintain system stability.

To resolve this problem, update the NVIDIA display driver.
The latest driver is available at http://www.nvidia.com.

I've tried re-installing the game and running it with and without the latest point release. My other games such as CoD4, Crysis etc. run fine.

You're probably best off by deinstalling the driver completely, rebooting, then reinstalling it and hoping the problem goes away.
