Had to get one every year in the Corps. I never worried about it, because I don't fuck men or Haitian monkeys.

I had one 2 weeks ago along with STD checks. All clear. Thing is, they had most results back the day after. The NHS work on a ' no news is good news' basis and they don't ring you back unless something is wrong. They say 2 weeks max. I rang them anyway.

I don't understand the point of this thread, though... it's just a blood test. It's like asking if anyone has had their blood typed.

Getting tested is something I do annually or semi-annually when I'm not in a committed, exclusive relationship, and if you're sexually active, even if you use protection my opinion is you're doing yourself and anyone you may be with disservice if you don't.

I've done it twice, just to be on the safe side. I don't like that 'no news is good news' thing. I always called after the two weeks.
