you have to agree, meet is a very disgusting prospect, I would so be a vegetarian if it didn't taste so damn good..
but I do draw the line on some meet products.. fr instance sausages and hot dogs are beyond disgusting imo.

Yes mashed is my favorite, but have you people tried potato cakes, that's a pan fried version?

Just add a little vege matter or other (leftovers are great) ingredients you see fit and fry up on a hot skillet or pan until golden. Great mate

Boiled PEELED potatoes is common food in Belgium, mostely unmashed, but they make make different kinds of mashed potatoes overhere. Mostly mixed with some kind of vegetable like carrots or spinach or leek.

Oh does potato cakes are called "rösti", it's originaly from Germany

Deep fried country potatos. Discovered this by going to Rosies Country Kitchen. It's actually owned by Indians (India) who cook better redneck food than anyplace I used to go in South Carolina. Will take a pic next time I'm in...stay tuned.
