Quake3World

I have no idea about setting these up and who supports what and all... but I have a friend wanting to set one up for his site.

Anyone have some advice on how to get one going and what to use... he doesn't need an all out forum like this site really, just a place were people can login and post messages and what not on the views he has on his site.



Sorry if I didn't give enough info, I don't have a link to his site atm and don't know much about it. I can get some more info if I know what to ask though.

phpbb (what Q3W runs on) has its quirks, but it is dead easy to install and use.

Doesn't get easier than phpbb. He will need database hosting, but nearly every host offers this with all packages.
