Trillan Unresponsiveness

Lately I've noticed that Trillian on my main computer is being glitchy. It will stop responding for a couple of seconds, especially while typing in a message box and then it will catch up. I've haven't noticed any other program doing this at all. Anyone know what could be going on? It seems to be getting more common and very annoying.
