...Earth's second moon is called Cruithne. It was discovered in 1986 and it takes a convoluted horseshoe path around our planet as it is tossed about by the Earth's and the Moon's gravity.

it's not a moon by any conventional definition of the term. just an asteroid with a weird orbit that kind looks like a moon from the earth's pov if you squint.
if you have
celestia, you can get
this guy's quasi-satellites addin to give you cruithne to watch.
