Quake 2 Vortex RPG Mod

Vortex is a RPG style style mod for Quake 2. It features 11 playable classes and over 100 different abilities to choose from. Abilities include : various magic spells, summoning monsters, sentry guns, morphing abilities and much more! It is highly addicting and I recommend you check it out! There's a definite reason the majority of the Vortex community are the same people who have been playing it for years. I've been playing it on and off since about 2001 or 2002 and I still have a ton of fun playing it. If you have a copy of Quake 2 and an anticheat supported client (
http://www.antiche.at), definitely give it a shot. Honestly there really isn't any other game like it.

You really just have to give it maybe 30 minute when there are a few players and the server's in PvP mode. It doesn't usually look like it does in that video anyway. All that blue shit around the players was some sort of spell another player cast on them.
