ep06 was decent, McKay is seeing some character development. Story carried a little more dramatic depth than is typical of SF television.

ever read any iain m banks? just finished 'consider phlebas' and 'the player of games'. not bad stuff, and pretty readable even though i don't like sci-fi that much
