ESWC Q3 Finals in San Jose, CA

To get people up to speed:
SK'rapha upset ESWC Paris Masters winner (who did not lose a singel map in the event) and Quakecon 1V1 QuakeLIVE runner-up srs'cypher in the first stage forcing him to rage-quit with 1 minute left in second map. chance of EG beat cooller 2-0 in stage 1. cooller and ZeRo4 meet AGAIN with cooller coming out on top, but ultimately being forced out due to z4 not losing a map to France's Strenx and having a worse overall map record than chance and z4. EG.czm quietly going about his business securing a spot amongst the 8 quarter-finalists.
Much was made of the Americans not being able to compete with EU duelers in the past 6 months or so and many thought it to be true but half the quarter-finalists are Americans, the most unexpected being chance of EG. There is a sense that noone really knows who will come out on top though srs'cypher is still the favorite.
Also worth noting, Gamegune 2008 winner and last years ESWC Quake champ serious'Av3k wasn't able to acquire a visa to come to San Jose to defend his crown.
