textedit for a 250mg file.....
I will give it a quick try after saving and backing up other work.
edit: it opens in textedit now wtf do I do

xml is another world...there are some xml editors that color the functions accordingly, but I've never used one. You might try searching around on
http://www.versiontracker.com or
http://www.macupdate.com for something useful.
