Fuct on Radeon7200 Y/N?

Since I downgraded to Radeon7200 after Geforce3 had gone, I've found a curious fuct on Radeon7200.
[Fuct]
1. Radeon7200 does not support OpenGL natively (Radeon7200 can just emulate OpenGL)
2. Radeon7200 beats Geforce3 in Direct3D mode

[Clues]
1. Its initial driver had a lot of rendering bugs for quake3
2. Texture compression with OpenGL is way2slow(Q3)
3. There is a quake3.exe which runs in D3D mode
3. Official linux driver has never supported radeon7200 with h/w acceleration which means OpenGL acceleration
4. Rendering in OpenGL mode is much slower than in D3D
5. With Radeon7200 UT2004 runs much faster than with Geforce3

What do you think about this?

[fuct]
1. false (don't use later catalysts for this card)
2. false, the 8500 does that
[clues]
1. false
2. depends on driver and implementation (the card does support s3tc)
3. true, but it's not really a source port so you can't really call it Quake3.exe
3. another 3? way to count moron. they dropped support for everything pre-r300 in the linux driver so I don't think that matters anymore
4. false, the ogl vs. d3d fps wars is often subjective, pointless and retarded.
5. false, the 8500 does that

I'm not talking about 8500 but only 7200!!!
Anyway my radeon7200 is a cheaper bulk product made in Hongkong, which is equipped with 64MB of SG-RAM.
