Quake 3 Team Arena Server Questions

Hello,

1.
I have been looking for custom maps for Quake III Team arena and Is all that i could find is what seems to be ones made by ID.

http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/61/Quak ... Map+Pack+1
http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/62/Quak ... Map+Pack+2
http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/350

Other than that I cant find any other Quake 3 maps, is there any other ones.
I just dont get why there are so many quake 3 maps and hardly any team arena maps?

2.

When I run a dedicated server for Team Arena, is there anyway to change the Skill level of the bots?

3.

When I run a dedicated server sometimes it says "Connection Interrupted"
Could this be because of the fact that I am playing team arena on the same machine that I am running a dedicated server on.
Is this known to cause conflicts?

Sorry I know I shouldn't be doing it like this, but Its the only machine I have and I like to be able to play on my own server.
Anyway I can fix the "connection interupted" problem or improve it so it doesnt happen as often, but still be able to play on the same machine i run the server off.

My Computer specs :

P4 1.6GHZ
1GB Of RAM
Geforce FX 5200
Windows Server 2003

Thanks.

1. Gazillions. Check out http://lvlworld.com/
2. g_spskill 1-5
3. You probably need to free up a little CPU time for the server to run smoothly. Lower the resolution and graphic detail of your client and see how it works out. Make sure there are no other processes running in the background (browser, virus scanner, stuff that consumes CPU).

Best to run a dedicated server. Even if you want to play on the same machine (just start a second instance of the game and connect to localhost).

A dedicated server runs smoother and doesn't get lagged because of loading assets (like player models) mid-game.
