Samsung TVs and HDMI Overscan

After an hour of fucking around and about 20 mins resigned to having wasted money on a DVI->HDMI Cable, I have the following advice to offer:
If you have a Samsung TV and wish to connect your PC using a DVI->HDMI connection, you may find that the picture is blurry and does not fit within the screen correctly.
If so, go into the TVs menus and change the 'name' of the HDMI connection you're using. One of the name options will be 'PC'. As soon as you change the name of the port to PC, everything starts working properly.
Completely, utterly undocumented on my TV. Waste of a fucking hour. I may phone Samsung tomorrow and throw a drama fit in the hope that they'll put it in the manual next time.
