There's probably no God
There's probably no God
Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.
shame thats probably more of an agnostic statement than an absolute atheist view, but i laughed anyway. expect the christians and the muslims to boycott public transport any time soon (before blowing them up at least)

Depends how it's phrased. Millitant aethism is equally annoying as someone ramming the good news down my throat.DooMer wrote:I'm sick of seeing this shit. It's not. Not at all.r3t wrote:probably... that's as bad as saying you just should believe in one
That said, that bus thing doesn't bother me, quite the opposite. It's a nice counter-balance to stuff about religious tolerance which seem to be metamorphosizing more and more into kow-towing to everyone's nutty beliefs at the expense of tolerance for normal people's freedom to say and do what they want, inside the law.
So the bus poster thing == good to me
It's rather a nice change to be told not to worry.

That'll be true when they have bare breast ads (with nipples) on the side of a bus. They have those in Denmark and nobody blinks, cares or gets offended.seza wrote:it'd be nice if the US could be as progressive as Europe at times...this being a nice example towards

Re: There's probably no God
I think that people who think there is no God are like people that have a mental limitation. They need to have proof or its not true. They are like Cavemen and you are trying to explain to them that they breathe what is called oxygen. Now on the other hand you have people of the same caliber that only believe in God and not Evolution.
So, what do we have?
2 groups of mentally limited parties fighting for the truth.
When the Truth is what both believe. There was a Creation of base properties and there was an evolution of that base creation.
It takes real superior intelligence to be able to embrace both.

So, your hostility to my statement means you are miffed that you have no rebuttal. It is ok young Padawan, in time you will gain knowledge and skills of the fleeted mind...the pure and quick thinker. Then, you will be able to abandon your crude sledgehammer of attack for a more surgical strike.Dark Metal wrote:Or a homo.

Most people who are atheist (or agnostic) don't believe in God because they think the chances of one existing are low and because the evidence points towards that conclusion. It's not always about proof, but what seems plausible or implausible.
Did you not notice the word "probably" in the ad?
Oh...and I found an old picture of you...

Re: There's probably no God
quakethane was surely born in the wrong era. he delivered some next level philosophical-tip and i'm having a hard time thinking clearly right now. i see... i see all of my old thoughts, ideas, and perspectives were fake and now they're melting away, yes.....yes. i see it. how could i have been so naive? my pre-neanderthal brain is transforming in to one which superior intellect flows. it's here. there IS a god. he created everything. i now see that anything too complicated to figure out must surely default to a faith based way of thinking. science and math are the devils influence. the earth is 6000 years old and our ancestors rode dinosaurs.
