Welcome to 2006.
It's not a horrible movie and it is faithful to the franchise in terms of look and feel...but it's not a great movie.
If thoroughly enjoyed the games you'll probably like the movie, but if you're one of those purist fagg0ts you'll be disappointed.

I quite liked it actually.. i've got the DVD and seen it a fair few times. I do like the video games and the music is fantastic of course. Put simply, it's not as bad as you probably expect it to be and is more than worth watching.

Ok cool, well I'm recording it. I only played Silent Hill 1 many years ago which was a great game at the time.

i've got the DVD and I rather liked it. was much better than most suspense movies out there.

aye, the movie is very nice in terms of sound and setting. story is a bit weak, and it feels like they made 2 hours of movie and then remembered it needed a plot.

Sean Beans yank accent is NOTHING compared to Jason Stathems... Christ, the mans as cockney English as you can get, why the fuck do they make him speak like that?

Its that bad you can be forgiven for thinking that...
It makes Dick Van Dykes accent in MAREH POPPUNS look like it should win some kind of "artist of the year" award...
