got a strange shadow bug at a cylinder, one half is just normal then turns dark on the other side, if i make 2 half ones it's just a black stripe between the two halfs, dunno why but it's strange the pic is too dark for some reason so can't really explain it, but i will by some text skills :D

the cylinder is bent and the bug is just in half of it..
i'll make something in paint .. >:D

here it is: http://server6.theimagehosting.com/imag ... %20bug.JPG

hope that will explain something :p

The pic may be to dark for you, but not for us. I know people who have such a bad monitor setup they cant even tell what COLOUR some things are.

It sounds to me like you messed up your lighting. I mean, your level is too dark, and you get black patches in the cylinders...? Maybe you just havent lit your level correctly.

SIGH! first u say i have to make a pic ingame, now this, well here you go, and no it isn't a fault of my monitor it's like 19 inch. it was because i used the Print Screen button, this makes my pic darker for some reason, but because you are SOOOO friendly here ya go: http://server6.theimagehosting.com/imag ... ke3bug.JPG

Well that pic looks perfectly fine to me, brightness wise. Sounds to me like you have a bee in your bonnet for no reason.

In other words, I could tell you the fix, but thanks to your unwarranted hostility, I wont.

allright, now for the ones who need glasses: if you are a real human you can see the shadow of the left side isn't fitting with the right, it suddenly turns darker.. this is not a teaparty you know?

please check my other topic, this one is ruined by 'one of the members' :smirk:

i fixed this bug by rotating it 180 degrees, and then flipping it 270 degrees, then put it back on place..

HOW STRANGE IS THIS XD

Q3 has a screenshot button. F12 by default, I think. Check in your options otherwise. You'll find a screenshots folder in your Q3/baseq3 installation directory.

Ignore o'dicunt. Someone stuck a broomstick up his ass years ago and he never bothered to take it out.

Problem is he's been trying to normalmap the handle the whole time its been up there. :)

I had that problem before too, and I ended up just deleting the whole thing.

a) This thread sucks.
b) I'm glad you got your question answered in the other thread. No need to make two threads in the future.
c) Less sarcasm and bitchiness is pretty much always a good idea (for everyone involved).

Closing.
