No, you just play through a campaign which involves 4 maps. If you die, you just start at the beginning of the map. You can also start from any campaign or map you like from the menu.

meh, its not really a storydriven or even encounter driven game. its a nonstop battle against zombies and time. saving isnt needed here cause theres not much to lose, really.
it would be the equivalent of a midrace savefeature in racing game

you can also start on any chapter in a campaign so a save feature isn't all that essential. though if you're going for an achievement then from what i understand you do gotta play through it all in one sitting.

How does this game do single player? Is it the same as multiplayer but with bots?

Single player isn't worth playing (especially once you've played online), so the save issue isn't really that big of one.

I wish some morons would realize that if one of your teammate's gets puked on, you don't need to stand by them. They just need to step back and shoot the infected that come swarming.

Or some morons wouldn't get mad when you don't follow "orders" like their the best shit in the world because they have the mic and I don't and in the long run I always kill more infected than them and lose least amount of health and then they get mad because they thing I'm whoring the auto shotty like its a pvp based multiplayer.
