hi i've got a problem with most of my patches, i don't think it's a bug but, it's annoying.



the problem are the light points from the skybox .. a little bit small on this one, but if you move the points 'move with you'.
it actually gives a see-through effect, and i can see the skybox texture trough it.
i don't actually want this, but if i make another patch in this, it turns black. probably because it doesn't catch light.
but i just want it like it is a brush, i don't have the problem with brushes..

it's a little bit hard to explain, hope the screenshot helps something.

heheh, there it is. well now it is here =D, someone has an idea of what it could be?

That happens when the verts of a patch (or even brush) dont quite match up.

If you zoom very close into that area you will see the there is a tiny, tiny gap there.

They are called "sparklies" (because they appear to sparkle when you move around). They can usually be fixed by both removing T-Junctions between brushes and by adding caulk behind the patches.

Time for another quick tutorial?
