EDIT: why won't the image work

Because it links to a page rather than a jpeg. The "direct link" on Imageshack's page is sometimes BS. I've noticed that in my posts from time to time. If it happens again...go to your link and the real "direct link" will show on that page. Imageshack is turning faggy.

it actually means the browser is showing the contents of the alt tag instead of the actual image. while loading times will theoratically cause this, chances are the image isnt loading at all - red x in IE.
