Quake3World

Hi everyone,

I am very very new to quake and networking on the whole and I would greatly appreciate some assistance.

I am trying to set up a server for a friend and I to tryout on before we start entering the other servers but we are unsuccessful. Basically we want to set up a server just for both of us to fight each other for now.

Is there any detail tutorial I can read that may assist us. As detailed as possible - everything that I need to do and everything he needs to do.
