Quake3World

Mainly, I want to know what the allure seems to be with Open Arena, as compared with spending a couple of bucks to purchase Q3A. Or whatever the reason one would choose OA over Q3A.

Plz use the "other" choice . I will consider it the "fuck off" option.

Quake Live?

I thought about making Quake Live a choice. You can't mod QL though, so I stuck to these choices. The number of choices other than OA are what I'm talking about. UT, etc. There's just so much out there that it just seems OA is redundant. The only thing I can see is that it's free. I already had Q3A when OA came out, so I wasn't looking for it. I played it because I assumed there would be some difference. Q3A had the better graphics and has been contributed to so much, Open Arena just sort of slipped away.

I'm just wondering if some people prefer OA. And, if so... why?

Well, OA is great for a few fast rounds of DM at work.
