I see the problem.

There are many apps still supporting W98.
I've just been disappointed by ID.
But QL is still at beta phase, so ID still has the chance to change her attitude.

I.E.) QL can be played on W98 w/o stats recording and pnkbstrA&B.exe, just for practice purpose.

That you are using an eleven year old operating system. Microsoft itself doesn't support Windows 98 anymore, why should iD?
