I've seen some pics people here have posted from there and know many of you have been there a few times. Any suggestions on where to stay, what to do, and what to make sure I see while there?

Isn't "Banff" the sound that Nightcrawler makes when he teleports?

I've never been, but I think it would be cool to do something like hiking through the massive forests, canoeing in Lake Louise and rock climbing on the Rockys. It's one thing to see Banff, quite another to do Banff. Make sure you bring back some pretty pictures with your fancy camera.

You're going to one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Enjoy your trip. No travel tips...as you can't really go wrong there.

When are you going? I'll be making a trip out there this summer myself.

I think it was the Banff Springs hotel, it's a huge, turn of the century hotel that looks like a castle, really beautiful, but it might be expensive. It was built as a railroad hotel.
