Too far south fer me, but, if you get up around Sacramento I'll show you the best grease burger in the U.S.
AND, a genuine British pub.

i'd wager that genuine british pubs are, with a few exceptions, not total dives with shitty websites from 1996

I'll take that bet. Also, every time I've been in there, there's been some limey spuming shite and calling it conversation. Oh, and it smells like halitosis in there. BAM! Genuine British pub or Mazduh aint a virgin.

well, leaving aside the fact that you've never actually set foot in an actual british pub and have only been in a low-budget knock-off in SACRAMENTO FFS and are an utter assclown, there's also the fact that their 'menu' consists of 50% dishes that haven't been served in a british pub since the 1970s, 49% dishes that have never been served in a british pub, and about 1% dishes i'd actually expect to see on the menu in a british pub. plus there's the near certainty that none of the serving staff are from eastern europe, which they would be in a genuine british pub, and instead are probably smelly illegal wetbacks. lastly there's the fact that you seem to go in there a lot, which suggests a) that you like it in there, and b) the serving staff are probably members of your grotesquely extended family

that's not really fair. car bombs were being served right up into the 90s - it's only recently that a rucksack full of nails and homemade playdough has become more popular.

Please tell me when you go to a Genuine British Pub you drink British ale/ciders, otherwise it kind of misses the point.

That shit tastes like liquid Fruit Loops, I have no idea how anyone could call it a beer.

Actually, I really enjoy the Guinness warm, flat, and with plenty of head. Throw in a corned beef on rye and I'm in heaven. Streets of London isn't so bad. A lot of yuppies at certain times, but the after hours party we had there, following the tattoo convention last weekend, was fairly a good time.
@DM: I bet you drink that piss Labatts.

Labatts makes many beers, you'll have to be more specific, however generally I drink Sleeman's Dark when I'm unable to the beer at the microbrewery near my cottage.

Just tried some Henry Weinhard's Blue Boar. Not strongly bitter, like most ales, but definitely one. Very nice drink.
