Hey

Id like to know how I can bypass a ban. I was playing on this server the game finished and then I recieved a "Banned" message. Not sure why as I wasnt using any cheats or anything. I tried to see if I can contact the admin but I couldnt find any information.

Any way to bypass it? I really liked this server and there is only of of this kind with players that Ive now grown acustomed to.

I'm gonna say something that people will find VERY hard to believe. I've never been banned off a server. No, seriously. Anyway, I think there's some way to screw with yer IP to fool the server? I dunno, but these guys do.

I just wanna know... were you banned because you were putting some serious frag down? Maybe you hurt someones feeling.

No. I was in mid table more or less. Played about 3-4 games I suppose.

Tried to turn off and turn on my router but I have the same IP (Thats a subquestion: Does Q3A only ban by IP or can they ban by MAC Address/etc?)

IP address only. A PunkBuster ban is by GUID, however, and that shouldn't change unless you reinstall your OS. And maybe not even then.
