So, many of you probably know that Felipe Massa almost died in qualifying for the Hungarian GP last weekend. He was struck in the head by an 800 gram spring (it broke off of Barrichello's car) while he was going about 175mph. A couple more inches to the right and he would have been killed instantly. As it was he fractured his skull in two places, had surgery, and was placed in a coma for a day or so to make sure his brain wouldn't swell. The vision in his left eye was in question for a while, as was his ability to walk, both are steadily improving. Needless to say, he's done for the season and possibly for good. Who's going to drive for him for the rest of the season? Marc Gene? No. Luca Badoer? No.
