You said Melbourne doesn't have any beaches.

While they aren't huge it's only a few blocks away and I can still dig my toes in the sand while reading.

I guess your kind of "beach" has huge waves and lots of oiled up men waggin their peckers in your face, which (thankfully) I haven't seen yet.

Yer. I arrived Monday. They even sent a fucking limo to pick me up from the airport.

They gave me this week off to get over the jet lag and check out the various neighborhoods as I'm in a temp apartment for the first month (a seriously posh place that the CEO used to live in) right on St.Kilda Road...in the middle of the nicest parts of town.

Regarding Thailand...I've actually made plans with my brothers and friends in Winnipeg to head to Amsterdam next July...so expect some rowdy Canucks to come there next summer to fuck and smoke everything Amsterdam has to offer.

So Thailand will have to wait until 2011. I bet I get a sexier boy than you.

yo Gonna - Melbourne doesn't have beaches ...it has the filthiest, litter ridden, gritty sanded, bay shorelines that I've set foot on. In Australia, a beach is generally considered to have surf and be the immediate shoreline of the the ocean! I recommend a trip south past Geelong (don't stop in Geelong!) to Great Ocean Road - it's a great road, by the ocean haha... but yeh, there you'll get beaches! ...have fun at Krome! :P

I guess I'm lucky in that the beaches aren't full of slobs due to the "Australian winter".

As to beaches needing surf, I agree but that doesn't diminish them that much. As to them needing an immediate shoreline to an ocean I didn't miss that aspect at all when I was on the beaches of Spain north of Barcelona. Here in Melbourne I can't see the other coast across the bay, so to me it might as well be an ocean.

As to the Great Ocean Road, I've already planned to rent a convertible and drive it in a few months.

Those pieces of shit in Melbourne with a bit of water next to them aren't real beaches you stupid faggot. Maybe because you've lived in shithole countries all your life and have finally come to paradise you're still adjusting. If you come to Sydney and go to the beach here you'll see what I mean.

You've got the beaches starting from Bondi and going south from there which are very nice but get a bit too crowded for my liking. Bondi has a pretty big homo scene though so you'd fit in there perfectly.

If you want the best beaches in Sydney I'd recommend going to the Northen Beaches district. This starts at Manly and goes north from there until you get to Palm Beach. Manly is a 20 minute drive or 30 minute ferry from the city, Palm beach is 1 hour drive from the city. There's also a decent bus service for the plebs but no train line thankfully which keeps all the bogans out. Manly is a bit touristy but has plenty of other shit going on other than the beach so it depends what sort of a day you're looking for.

I'd also recommend letting Greanpeace know you are coming to Sydney and planning on going to the beach to save them the trouble of thinking a whale has beached itself when they see you sunbaking and try rolling you back out to sea.
