The real question is, do you really want the people making garbage like:
.. in charge of your comic book characters? They claim they're going to leave the current management in place and not try to refit Marvel to fit the Disney brand, but I remain cautious.

Disney always has quality comic relief actors in its films, almost up their with Lucas Films and the Jar Jar. Usually their skin is brown or black, or they wear their hat backwards because they're cool like that, and they often have an annoying high squealing accent. Expect these same "supporting" actors to start showing up in Marvel action hero films now.

Won't change a thing for Marvel. It just opens up new opportunity for Disney.

God, I hope it doesn't change anything for Marvel; the Punisher Max series of comics are one of my favourite things at the moment, and are pretty much the exact opposite of what one expects from Disney.

I'm sure Disney knows exactly where Marvel's strengths lie. They won't change a thing. Besides, they already got their own Disney brand for the fluffy kiddy stuff. Acquiring Marvel is a good way for them to enter the more adult market.

I don't see it as a bad thing. Disney have the cash and the backing for decent actors to get behind the films. 9 ie: Terrance howard being bumped for Don Cheadle as war machine in Iron man 2 over money)
Disney is still the same factory that gave us
something wicked this way comes...all those years ago. That film was scary as fuck.
this is not a bad thing.
Disney owns Pixar now as well... We all thought it would be a bad thing
Until
Up came out. Which was hands down their best flick since finding Nemo.
I bet the next few Marvel films are gonna kick serious ass.
