Quick question, i've looked all over google but all I get is tutorials on HOW to use it..

Is there any way to have whatever you are "transforming" not smooth out? I'm trying to enlarge a sprite from an snes game and I'd like it to remain pixellated.

Probably some setting i'm too dumb to see or something but as always, thanks for any help

nope because it's raster and not vector so when the transform PS is interpolating the pixels within whereas a vector would define space within to be populated with colour.

if you're any good with the pen tool just vector it out.

That's just silly. Doombrain you Photoshop noob! :dork:

Image > Image Size

Make sure you select "Nearest Neighbor (preserve hard edges)" in the drop down menu and then your image size and click OK.

^ that

another trick is to save it as an indexed file (i.e. gif or png) and then stretch it. pixels-a-plenty

@Obsidian - thanks dude, I actully finished one by hand and was going to quit and not finish the other few i want to do, but I guess I don't have to.

@MKJ - I thought that as well but when I turned it into indexed, I wasn't able to resize the image, with the normal command from the toolbar or ctrl+t, not sure why unless it's because of how old this photoshop is

thanks again guys
