Putting Qlive into Q3A

With comments on the cool things about Qlive like the huds and the maps, I've been in wonder of whether the makers of it would think on putting it into Q3A. Now there would be the argument of whether it would reduce the player amounts in Qlive for them obviously...or not.
How many Q3A players actually play Qlive? In what way could it be ported over and still be kept safe from people who don't own Q3A, and how could it be added to Q3A without it damaging normal vQ3(baseq3 folder play).
A good majority of the best mods were all developed over time in versions like OSP, and CPMA for example. So it got me thinking about the Team Arena mod, which never really received a whole lot of online play, amd probably never will. Considering that Qlive is like an extension to Team Arena in ways, from it's weapons to it's tourney maps, player skins and so on... minus maps like ztn3dm1 and pro-q3tourney7, would it be a cool new version of Team Arena(missionpack) for those who don't play online, and did pay for the game. People play Qlive for free, why not give Q3A players it for free also? I'm a Q3A players, and don't prefer to play Qlive(which I do a little bit), yet I would like the cool things about it in Q3A.
I was wondering if anyone thinks that it would be worth it that I write to the Qlive makers for the request of what I've mentioned..though I haven't figured out where their e-mail is..or who to specifically to write to. Putting it into their forum is a no go...and is this even worth it for me to ask them to do, or would they even give a shit...Comments?

I don't think they'd give a shit, to be honest.
They're not making any money off Q3 and they're concentrating on and hoping to turn a profit with Q3Live. It's completely counterintuitive for them to put any development effort into Q3A.

Quake Live is ad-supported, that's why it's free. How would that work in Q3A?
Also, they're always making updates. So it's an on-going project.
It's said to be the basis for any future DM games, so a new "quake arena game" would be like a Q3 version of QL, but I presume with a more advanced engine

One or more people at Id Software have mentioned it in interviews.
That said, if they could find a willing sponsor, they could make an ad-supported offline version. Coca-Cola sponsored a track or a few and a ship or a few for Wipeout Pulse. I didn't download them, though, cause the "fake" ads were obtrusive enough in the stock game, and I am kind of anti-coca-cola and simmilar drinks. Actually, I think it was only for the Japanese version... hmmm.
A different sponsored version for different territories. That could work.
Still, QL doesn't have many sponsors (yet), and that can have its ads changed at any time so it's easier to get sponsors. A free sponsored offline game add-on requires a lot more from the sponsor.
Also, pro-q3tourney7 is already in Q3, it was put in in a patch

(It was released before that, that's why I thought maybe you didn't realise.)
It's called qztourney6 in QL, for those that don't know. Yes, 6, that's not a typo.
Edit: Actually, they dropped to "pro-" bit aswell, forgot that

^ I've wondered why the featured sponsor 'window' or box, if you will, is still empty. Are they waiting with ads till it's out of beta? I figure they could easily have a temporary sponsor there.
Also, it's a bummer so few q3w ppl are playing qlive (over q3a). Played with deji and saw menkent, but when i checked some names from the GD thread the accounts were pretty much inactive. Most of the things ppl mention about it here aren't that positive either. Sure it maybe isn't perfect (yet), and one can debate about the gameplay, and the lack of maps etc.
For me though it's pretty awesome. I like the weapon balance right now (except SG maybe). The movement feels great to me, much more like the earlier versions of q3a. Also it isn't a such a bitch to find a decent server like it is for q3 right now.
What i still fucking hate are all the team arena maps with runes, and ofc mines..

An update caused the Windows client to crash after about a single round EVERY TIME. I'm not sure if it's been resolved yet, but I stopped playing after that. The Mac client came out but didn't work on my system, again not sure if it's resolved. Haven't tried the Linux client yet.

I haven't played it very much but played it today and that problem isn't there. Also, coloured grenades, now!

(It's just the flashing bit.) I just left it at the default green, looks OK
Oh and console chat enabled cl_allowconsolechat 1 or something.
Edit: Wait, a "round"? I play 1v1 only so not sure if that applies

They do fix the bugs eventually, though, cause people report them

No troubles here with CA on Windows. Although i prefer an honest TDM game
Do you get any error at all when it crashes? Updated ffox?

Actually, I did the review for it when it came out on ..::LvL many years back.

..I've always liked that map.

whoever's handling advertising for QL needs a kick up the arse.

noticed that i was being listed as inactive for over a week - even though i'd been playing instagib almost every night. it's fair enough not to have stats for instagib, but it should still count towards an overall number for time logged in/playing.
