just got the results back from the MRI and there appears to be a lesion on the insular cortex of my brain. gotta go back tomorrow to get another MRI with contrast for more study...

i'm thinking it's nothing and i have had it all my life. it's in an area that controls speech and all kinds of shit. it's been observed that ppl will lesions here will often get dysphasia or aphasia. all my life i have had this thing every now and then where i can't get a word out ...like i forgot how to pronounce it(almost dyslexic like)...but had no problem saying it before...

so i'm hoping i was just born a moron like that...

usually brain lesions aren't life-threatening, they just mess with your mental processes, which would explain your murrrr speech impediment. unless you've suffered some kind of head trauma from being excessively moronic you were probably just born that way

the worst kind of lesions are the seriously personality-transforming kind, like that guy who got a railroad spike through his head and went from nice guy to psycho

my favourite story though is the guy who had hand-washing OCD which got him down so bad he decided to blow his own brains out. he woke up a few days later in hospital with a bandage on his head and his OCD cured. now that's self-medication

lesion as in non specfic mass. it could be a tumor or just scar tissue. hence another mri this time with contrast...

if its a tumor i'm fucked...not a good place to operate...too deep within the brain...
