q3w not saving cookies in chrome on my laptop

i have to re-login every time i reopen the q3w window. everything is fine on my work pc running the same version of chrome. other forums all work fine. q3w is not part of cookie exceptions. any ideas?

See if you can find this forum's cookie and delete it. A new one should be created after you log back in.

there was a cookie problem with people not using the proper quake3world url.
they were using the re-directed url to connect to q3w
