So if you look at it from the ultimate standpoint, I would be 4th in command.

Since the President and VP aren't directly involved in every project, you could look at it from a positional standpoint (Senior PM, GM and PM). Which would put me 3rd in command.

Since the GM facilitates the resolution of contract issues and negotiates vendor buy outs, but doesn’t have much to do with the day to day operations, you could look at from the standpoint of how the project is assigned (Senior PM and PM). Which would put me 2nd in command.

However, it is quite clear around the office that the President, VP and GM all favor the 2nd in command standpoint because it limits their somewhat unnecessary involvement in every project and allows them more time to complete tasks specific to their position.
