Some user nicknamed drolux started spamming huge medicamentation advertisments (see title) in LEM, and that's what I answered him before reporting this shit. After that drolux' posts got deleted and one of his threads has obviously been transferred to the void. Hm, first post here, might never do that again.

lol, never seen that or played with that on before. looks horrible and distracting, and the shadows fall over empty space, like over a ledge

it does indeed look horrible. seeing that 2 and 3 are not set through the gui, i think it was never fully developed and even dropped. someone just forgot to delete it from the code.
